    I have done that the past 10 years since I retired. I am now doing even more to simplify by getting rid of half the stuff in the house.

      Thank you Sandra for your lifting words! I too, am trying to rid myself of stuff. I cleaned our pantry today and took out two bags of expired grocery items. Why do we feel we need so much? Hummm....

We live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, and are very active in our local Mennonite church. I see we both have the same favorite book, the Bible! On Wednesday afternoons, our church is studying the Psalms now.

    I loved your post about the Oprah magazine! I am addicted to Goodwill and get all my clothes there, plus toys for the grandkids. I see we follow many of the same people, including the Mad One and Linda.
