She
told me to get up, get moving, and to put some oxygen in those veins.
It was a difficult day. A day that I thought I might not live
through. Even when I was at the point of total mental exhaustion, she wouldn't allow me to give up. No matter how hard the days, how difficult the
situation, or how much it hurt, she encouraged me to go on. She
reminded me of better times ahead, of days with no pain or bad news. That days filled with sunshine and laughter were still possible.
She reminded me that
I
was loved.
She
listened as I cried when the pain was unbearable and encouraged me to fight this
battle with all my might, everyday, every hour, every minute, with
every breath that God gave me.
She never gave up on me.
She
has climbed every mountain that has been before her. She is an amazing woman. I will cherish
her forever. I will always honor her.
For I
am,
my
HERO.
